Product availability raises 21% in January

The total number of available mortgages to intermediaries rose 21% in January to almost 10,000, which is the highest level since September 2008, according to Mortgage Brain. Its product analysis revealed that product numbers increased by 1,600 over January and have more than doubled in the last 12 months. There are now 9,744 mortgages available compared to 4,457 at the beginning of February 2010.
